Implementation of improvements for operational efficiency and cost reduction Optimization Engineer (Metal-Mechanical Sector) Atizapán de Zaragoza | On-site Job Objective: Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements in production processes to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization within the plant. What Are We Looking For? Education: Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering or related field Experience: 2–5 years in process optimization within the metal-mechanical industry Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, etc.) Proficiency in continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen) Experience in time and motion analysis Knowledge of production and efficiency KPIs ERP and/or planning systems experience preferred Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency Key Responsibilities: Analyze production processes to identify improvement opportunities Implement optimization projects focused on cost and time reduction Standardize processes and document best practices Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives on-site Measure and monitor performance indicators Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments Propose improvements in layout, material flow, and line balancing We Offer: Competitive salary Direct employment with the company (100% IMSS coverage) Statutory and above-statutory benefits Professional development Working hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. -Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education – Bachelor's degree 1 year of experience Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer, optimization, production, produce, fabricacion, manufactoring, elaboracion, making, manufactura, produccion
