Position Summary: The Operations Manager leads the development of operational activities, ensures process compliance, coordinates inputs, and interfaces with all operational areas. Key Highlights: 1. Manages key departments such as Production, Manufacturing, and Maintenance. The Operations Manager is responsible for directing the proper execution of plant operational activities, guaranteeing that processes are carried out within the timeframes and in the manner stipulated by the company to ensure timely delivery of goods, coordinating the availability of necessary inputs for operations, and interfacing with the operational activities of all departments. **EDUCATION REQUIRED:** * Completed Engineering degree or related field * Advanced English **EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES:** * \+5 years in a similar position * Experience in harness manufacturing (Mandatory) * Problem analysis * Quality management systems * Lean manufacturing * Problem-solving techniques * Poka Yokes * Line balancing * Productivity calculations * Leadership **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND AUTHORITY OF THE POSITION:** * Complies with Industrial Safety and Environmental Regulations and Procedures to verify that personnel under supervision work under safe conditions. * Coordinates and manages support departments involved in the production process: APU's, Manufacturing, PE, Lean, and Maintenance. * Plans and coordinates the allocation of operational staff to meet production plans. * Establishes and plans production targets according to the Budget and direction of the Plant Manager. * Coordinates, manages / balances budgets and coordinates overtime requirements. * Coordinates Continuous Improvement programs for APU's and Lean Manufacturing activities. **KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION'S FUNCTIONS:** * Responsible for coordinating, managing, and monitoring the proper functioning of Production, Manufacturing, and Maintenance departments to ensure optimal operational performance, as well as establishing organizational structures for each department under their responsibility within the plant. * Meets company-established Quality goals and programs. * Monitors and analyzes the Income Statement per APU to ensure compliance with the Budget. * Tracks APU Scorecard and action plans to achieve goals. * Evaluates, in coordination with APU Managers and Support Managers, personnel development. * Proposes and promotes activities related to goal achievement and the company’s work environment. * Submits weekly activity plan.
