**Constractiva LLC** is a general contracting company that also provides maintenance services for various properties. We are looking for an **Operations Assistant** who will be a valuable addition to our Operations Team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and effective coordination across multiple departments.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* **Vendor Coordination:** Manage communication with vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate pricing when necessary, and maintain good working relationships.
* **Materials Procurement:** Source, request, and purchase materials needed for construction and property maintenance projects. Track orders, manage inventory, and ensure that all materials meet project standards and deadlines.
* **Coordination With Maintenance Technicians:** Work closely with maintenance techs to schedule tasks, relay requests, provide needed materials, and monitor the progress of repairs and maintenance work.
* **Coordination With Property Management Team:** Handle incoming work requests from property managers, prioritize tasks, assign them to the appropriate personnel, and ensure timely completion. Provide regular updates and maintain clear communication.
* **Construction Operations Support:** Assist in coordinating activities for construction projects, including scheduling subcontractors, communicating with laborers, tracking project timelines, and ensuring proper documentation. Support the operations manager in organizing site visits, project planning, and job progress monitoring.
**Qualifications:**
* **Fluency in both English and Spanish** to communicate effectively with subcontractors, laborers, field staff, and internal teams.
* At least **2 years** of experience in construction, property maintenance, or operations coordination.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and handle time\-sensitive requests.
* Basic knowledge of materials, tools, and subcontractor roles.
* Problem\-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
**Working Conditions:**
* **Salary:** $1,000 \- $1,300 per month
* **Contract:** Independent contractor role, up to 40 hours per week
* **Benefits:** 5 PTO days after your first 6 months, increasing to 10 PTO days after completing 1 year (following the initial 6 months), plus US holidays as a standard package.
* **Work schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST (LA Local Time)
* Availability to work on weekends as needed.

Pay: $18,000\.00 \- $23,500\.00 per month
