**Position:** Operations and Traffic Manager. **Department:** Operations / Logistics **Reports to:** General Management / Operations Management **Sector:** Freight Transportation **(Hazardous Materials – 50 units)** **Location:** Cadereyta **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Plan, coordinate, and supervise hazardous materials transportation operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational safety, logistical efficiency, and service profitability. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * 5+ years in freight transportation operations. * **Mandatory experience in hazardous materials handling.** * Fleet management (tractor-trailers / fifth-wheel trailers). * Technical knowledge: * Operations with **PEMEX (unit documentation, operator onboarding and offboarding).** * Hazardous materials transportation regulations (NOM-002-SCT, NOM-007, etc.). * Road safety and emergency protocols. * GPS tracking systems and TMS. * Logistics planning and route optimization. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Coordinate daily unit and operator scheduling. * Supervise routes, delivery times, and service fulfillment. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (SCT, NOMs, HazMat safety). * Monitor units via GPS and track incidents. * Manage and resolve operational contingencies (accidents, delays, diversions). * Administer key performance indicators (KPIs): ▪ Service level ▪ Delivery times ▪ Operational costs ▪ Accident rates * Coordinate with Maintenance, Safety, and Human Resources departments. * Supervise proper trip documentation (waybills, logs, permits). * Implement improvements in logistics and operational processes. * Ensure continuous operator training in hazardous materials handling. **KEY SKILLS** * Leadership and decision-making * Problem-solving under pressure * Results-oriented mindset * Organization and planning * Effective communication * Supervision of operational personnel **PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)** * On-time delivery rate * Reduction of incidents and accidents * Optimization of logistics costs * Fleet productivity * Regulatory compliance **WORKING CONDITIONS** * Salary: $30,000 to $35,000 monthly (based on experience) * Statutory benefits * Location: Cadereyta Jiménez, N.L. * Working hours: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM * 24/7 availability (logistics operations) Apply with an updated professional CV in PDF format to 8186826441 Employment type: Full-time Salary: $30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per month Experience: * Hydrocarbons: 3 years (Mandatory) Workplace: On-site employment
