Logistics and Operations City: STATE OF MEXICO Publication Date: May 18, 2026 Schedule: Hybrid Description: **OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE ANALYST** **ROLE: OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE ANALYST** **General Purpose** Analyze the primary land logistics network, primary air logistics network, and secondary land logistics network, along with the series of processes derived from operations, generating reports, metrics, and databases to support decision-making and value-added proposals that optimize current processes—thereby enhancing infrastructure and human resource efficiency at each interchange center and air station. **Results** **Variables** **Metric** **Responsibility (Amount in $)** Logistics network and operational process analysis Proposals for logistics networks and operational processes Optimization of networks and processes reflected in reduced costs and/or improved service times. Conducting productivity and efficiency studies Presenting results of conducted studies Proposing operational changes to enhance productivity and efficiency. Follow-up reports Reports on cargo behavior by location, zone, customer, and infrastructure utilization. Delivering reports according to defined periodicity and issuing alerts and/or proposals to senior management upon detecting high-impact deviations. **Main Responsibilities** * Generate and analyze operational data. By extracting databases from various platforms and environments, processing data, modeling scenarios, projects, and potential solutions. * Restructure distribution routes and/or operational processes. Through data analysis and strategy development for distribution studies, proposing potential solutions for identified areas of opportunity. * Implement logistics projects. Through execution, monitoring, and reporting of results for various projects—providing implementation support and on-site personnel assistance, and overseeing project control until full maturity. * Forecast demand. Using required input data, building software input databases, running forecasts, analyzing outputs, and performing volume trend analysis at required levels (top customers, origin, destination, guarantees, market, etc.). * Plan capacity. Gathering required information, building software input databases, running capacity simulations, analyzing outputs, and evaluating operational KPIs as simulation outputs and capacity scenario analyses. **Decision-Making Authority** * Changes to report formats, structures, and presentations. * Modifications to tracking dynamics and stakeholder engagement (meetings, calls, frequency). * Field visit scheduling. * Selection of software to acquire for analysis. * Monitoring guarantee compliance. * Proposals for changes or modifications to networks, infrastructure, and processes. * **Internal Relationships** * Operations: For data tracking, analysis, metrics, trends, and implementations, etc. * Systems: For information acquisition and business rule development to improve efficiency. * Human Resources: To manage headcount. * Administration: For budget approvals and vendor coordination. * Facilities Maintenance: For project initiation and tracking. * Aircraft Maintenance: For project initiation and tracking. **External Relationships** * Suppliers: Reviewing service coverage and cost proposals. **Work Tools** * Laptop **Education** Academic Background: Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related field. **Knowledge Profile** Language: Intermediate English. Office Suite: Data analysis, database management. Solid knowledge of Logistics, Distribution, and Transportation Networks. Solid knowledge of Processes. KPI management. Project implementation and logistics strategy management. **Experience Profile** Logistics: 2 years. Analyzing information and delivering KPIs to support decision-making in the Operations Directorate. Performing re-engineering at interchange centers and air stations. Redesigning the TR1 and TR2 logistics networks\.
