Summary: This role involves developing, installing, configuring, and monitoring network hardware and connections, and diagnosing related issues. Highlights: 1. Develop and recommend network hardware solutions 2. Assemble, install, and configure network hardware 3. Monitor LAN and WAN connections for uptime and performance ResponsibilIties: - Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless access points and Wireless Bridges. - Develop and recommend appropriate network hardware solutions as necessary for each request. - Assemble, install, and configure network hardware as per standards and industry norms. - Diagnose issues and work with the vendor support team for replacements. - Configure or troubleshoot VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing,firewall rules. - Install network cabling as required. - Monitor LAN and WAN connections for uptime and performance. Qualifications: - English language fluency in written and verbal communication with a high level of comprehension. - 3+ years experience with network hardware. - Experience in network operations and implementation and good understanding of LAN, WAN and firewall management methodologies.
