**SS3 1 Monitor at GAC Mexicali** **Unique Skills:** **Education and Experience Requirements** ----------------------------------------- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Criminology or Psychology preferred. Two years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job functions. **Position Purpose**: Responsible for protecting the work area and preventing security incidents through internal and external building monitoring and controlling employee, visitor, and material entry and exit.**Job Description** ------------------- Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: * Monitors and executes door opening actions in the system. * Administers the incident report database. * Manages investigation development. * Supervises shift(s) responsible for monitoring internal and external facilities across both plants. * Administers the electronic logbook. * Administers key assignment. * Conducts locker audits. * Manages investigations related to lost tools or incidents. * Administers overtime scheduling. * Develops shift activity roles. Additional Functions: * Develops and delivers presentations. * Provides process training. * Analyzes problems, identifies solutions, develops action plans, and communicates them to others. * Makes decisions based on manuals and procedures. * Requires effective judgment and discretion. * Negotiates with various levels (Executive, Management, etc.). * Interpersonal skills and teamwork. Perform other duties as assigned.
