Collaborative work environment Mechanical Designer | Industrial Automation | SolidWorks Job Description At Boltronic, we are looking for a Mechanical Designer to join the engineering department and participate in developing mechanical solutions for industrial projects and automation. The purpose of this position is to develop functional and manufacturable mechanical proposals using 3D modeling, detailed engineering documentation, and collaboration with automation, control, and manufacturing teams. We seek a candidate with technical judgment, a practical manufacturing-oriented approach, and experience in industrial mechanical design. Main Responsibilities Mechanical Design and Engineering Design and development of mechanical solutions for industrial projects. 3D modeling and development of mechanical assemblies. Preparation of fabrication drawings for lathe and milling workshops. Generation of assembly drawings for sheet metal fabrication. Technical documentation of designs. Engineering and Manufacturing Generation of bills of materials (BOM) for procurement. Design for Manufacturability (DFM). Selection of commercial components according to technical requirements. Field Survey and Integration Site visits for dimensional survey and validation. Development of mechanical proposals based on real-world conditions. Collaboration with automation and electrical departments. Definition of sensor placement, wiring, and cabinet locations. Technical Follow-up Control and documentation of engineering changes. Technical support during manufacturing. Technical communication with workshops and manufacturing teams. Required Profile Education Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. (Intern or graduate) Experience 2–4 years in industrial mechanical design. Experience in developing mechanical solutions. Experience working with manufacturing processes. Software (demonstrable proficiency) Advanced SolidWorks. Complex assemblies (+250 parts). Configurations. Toolbox. Design libraries. Document management via PDM or an organized folder structure. Technical Knowledge Workshop and manufacturing processes. Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
