Summary: This role involves acquiring, standardizing, and analyzing data to develop KPIs and metrics, and developing methodologies to standardize material flow simulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Highlights: 1. Opportunity to drive innovation in manufacturing processes and automation. 2. Collaborate with diverse teams on new model programs from concept to launch. 3. Utilize advanced simulation tools to optimize material flow and efficiency. Primary deliverables include: 1\) Acquisition, standardization and analysis of data using Plan for every Part to develop KPIs and metrics for formalizing 5 year vision for each plant and a Material Flow Dashboard to present and compare all data 2\) Developing a methodology to standardize Material Flow simulations to incorporate standards for automation as well as developing a feedback methodology to verify simulation outputs 3\) Align simulations with Labor analysis and PMHV (Powered Material Handling Vehicle) and automation requirements to support new model programs developments upfront and through the key milestones The role requires collaboration with a multi\-functional team (MFE teams, Packaging, Warehouse, North American Vehicle Logistics , North America Material Logistics and Automation) for programs from initial concept through to launch at the Plant. During new model study phases, the successful applicant will work with the MFE teams to develop the logistic plan for flow of parts from dock to market areas and then to point of fit and virtually validate the key outputs including safety, labor, delivery equipment.
