Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain equipment in optimal condition, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Define and manage critical spare parts. Maintain charts and historical records of the behavior of assigned production lines. **Requirements:** * Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer or related engineering degree * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer performing duties such as supervisor responsible for an electrical maintenance area * Proficiency in maintenance techniques, including preventive and corrective maintenance * Intermediate spoken and written English proficiency (60%) * Knowledge of PLC programming, communication networks, AC/DC drives, and high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems * Proficiency in electric motors, regulation systems (control theory), instrumentation, furnace control, boiler control * Demonstrable experience in project administration, continuous improvement, and budget administration Reporting: Electrical technicians, shift coordinators, and electronics technicians report to this position. **Responsibilities:** • Daily operational supervision: Ensure area activities comply with established procedures and meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. Address corrective, preventive, and predictive issues arising in assigned production lines.• Safety: Ensure compliance with electrical section safety standards through effective audits and promote a safety culture to support the Company’s safety objective: Zero LTI. Upload all incidents from the area to Intelex and implement action plans to eliminate root causes. * Personnel management: Coordinate, motivate, and evaluate the work team, promoting professional development and achievement of individual and group goals. Plan daily team activities. Review daily staff attendance incidents. * Indicator control: Monitor KPIs (Maintenance Availability, MTTR, MTBF, productivity, efficiency, quality, absenteeism, turnover, expense control) and generate periodic reports for decision-making. Conduct annual inventory reviews of storage areas, at least once per year, aligned with annual results. * Problem resolution: Identify process deviations and promptly implement corrective and preventive actions. Execute action plans for deviations defined in the MPC. * Interdepartmental communication: Facilitate effective communication among departments such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Human Resources. Actively collaborate on CAPEX and OPEX projects with relevant departments. * Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, industrial safety standards, environmental regulations, and labor laws. In quality matters, perform calibrations and verifications defined for the area and complete documentation required by the quality assurance system.
