Acts as a key liaison between Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Logistics to translate the medium-term plan into a feasible and executable short-term schedule. This is a key position that provides planning expertise and offers high exposure across multiple departments. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** **1. Production Scheduling** * Translate weekly plan into daily/shift-level scheduling * Sequence orders to maximize efficiency (minimize changeovers and maximize utilization) * Ensure availability of labor, equipment, and materials * Coordinate with Materials teams on availability and mitigation plans **2. Execution and Monitoring** * Monitor execution vs. plan and ensure adherence * Manage deviations (breakdowns, shortages, operational constraints) * Dynamically adjust schedule to protect service levels **3. Cross-Functional Coordination** * Collaborate with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Quality/Engineering, and Logistics * Align priorities, capacities, and operational requirements **4. Capacity and Constraint Management** * Validate capacity and identify bottlenecks * Optimize asset utilization through sequencing and campaigns * Anticipate risks to service and inventory **5. Materials** * Ensure material availability prior to execution * Resolve shortages via MRP/Material Planning to prevent stoppages **6. Continuous Improvement** * Identify improvements in adherence, line efficiency (OEE), and changeovers * Participate in loss analysis and productivity initiatives **7.
