Job Summary: A major food company is seeking an Innovation and Development Assistant to work on the development and documentation of pilot prototypes, raw material control, and shipment coordination. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in the creation of pilot prototypes 2. Manage raw materials and process records 3. Coordinate shipments and ensure optimal equipment operation MAJOR FOOD COMPANY SEEKING: INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Biochemistry EXPERIENCE: 1 year in manufacturing KNOWLEDGE: -Basic operation of processing equipment -Data collection and recordkeeping -Raw material and inventory control -Working with protocols and reporting RESPONSIBILITIES: -Develop pilot prototypes according to protocols issued by designers, using available tools and equipment in the pilot plant. -Rotate raw materials, ingredients, and packaging to ensure use of components within their valid shelf life. -Report any deviations in pilot plant equipment operation to maintain process equipment in optimal condition. -Record process data and conditions during prototype development to generate reports for designers. -Coordinate sample and material shipments via transfer to various locations.
