Costa Dorada, C.P. 23434, San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur. Essential Requirements: * Junior high school diploma (certified) or high school diploma (certified). Knowledge: * Experience in custodial tasks and goods handling; desirable experience in kitchen operations, proper food handling, gardening, or minor maintenance. Job Responsibilities: * Support the kitchen supervisor in planning weekly and monthly menus, as well as preparing corresponding supply lists for vendor orders. * Inspect quality and quantity of supplies received from vendors, reporting any items that are damaged (for replacement), incomplete, or arrive with damaged packaging. * Handle food with appropriate rotation, storage, cleaning, sanitization, cooking, safeguarding, and FIFO inventory control, per standards required for H Distinction certification. * Implement departmental processes and complete tracking logs. * Prepare breakfast and lunch meals for students and staff as needed. Perform preparatory work at appropriate times to advance preparation of the next day’s meals. * Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment (stove, refrigerators, counter, cabinets, sinks, food processor, blender, etc.) and utensils, as well as assist in washing dishes used by all diners. * Support exceptional activities such as academic and extracurricular events, food distribution, receipt of in-kind donations, and other extracurricular activities (in coordination with fellow team members). * Participate in requested trainings and career development plans to properly perform duties and implement daily learnings. * Perform cleaning tasks in common school areas (courtyards, entrances, parking lots, cafeteria, hallways, restrooms), as well as offices and classrooms, among others. * Share responsibility for optimal implementation of sanitary protocols. * Assist in receiving goods delivered by vendors, as well as in-kind donations. * Collaborate with the maintenance assistant or kitchen supervisor in various area-specific tasks. * Help maintain green areas in appropriate condition (e.g., watering plants, mowing lawns, pruning trees). * Manage final disposal of school waste to enable collection by public or private waste services. * Lift, transport, and arrange furniture, equipment, and other materials, always using safety equipment within campus facilities; occasionally accompany the administrator to locations where such items are collected. * Complete tracking logs, protocols, and quality standards documentation. * Inventory control of cleaning supplies. * Active participation in trainings recommended by the immediate supervisor. * During periods when the school has no academic activities per SEP calendar—including Holy Week, Easter Week, summer vacation, and Christmas period—as well as on days non-working for SEP, support will be required outside the kitchen and cafeteria, including cleaning classrooms, laboratories, administration offices, cultural center, student records office, hallways, green areas, and assisting with painting and general maintenance tasks.
