Fire Proposal Lead

Description

**Goal** Support the Design team in pre\-sales and post\-sales multi\-faceted projects with technical activities such as takeoff, drawings, and bill of materials. **Essential Functions** * Support on Request for Proposals working on takeoffs, bill of material creation, pricing, etc. * Create pre\-design drawings (Spots \& Dots), shop drawings, submittal drawings, and As\- Built drawings based on the client’s standards and/or markups after site survey. * Create post\-sales design drawings and engineering packages. * Provide our internal and external engineering teams with support for highly complex projects. * Lead support on projects from our internal engineering teams. * Provide engineering support with internal project review processes. * Provide Subject Matter Expertise for team on complex projects and new initiatives. * Provide technical guidance and development to new hires and engineering team members. **What we look for:** **Required** * Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering. * \+4 years of experience in Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV and/or Construction design activities. * Advanced knowledge in electronic security systems such as access control, video, intrusion, fire alarm, building automation. * Ability to motivate, lead and influence team members and perform multiple assignments and responsibilities. * Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude. * Effective and professional communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal customers. * Advanced business level in English (B2\+) **Preferred** * Experience with Fire Alarm system (Simplex, AutoCall, Notifier, Fire\-Lite, Gamewell, Silent Knight, Edwards EST, Siemens Cerberus Pro, Potter, Bosch, Mircom, Hochiki, etc.) * Experience with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), and NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code). * Experience in codes (IBC, IFC, US local fire alarm codes) * NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems is highly desirable
