Technical-economic project evaluation and team training **Maseficiencia is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Monterrey, Nuevo León** -------------------------------------------------------------------- ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; professional title and license are mandatory, along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the design and engineering of photovoltaic plants and battery systems. Proficiency in electrical calculations, knowledge of construction projects, project evaluation, investment cost analysis, as well as energy and gas cost analysis, plus familiarity with electrical energy regulations, NFPA, and ANSI/ISA-5.1-2009 standards are essential to provide comprehensive client solutions. Additionally, experience in handling concept catalogs, supplier selection, and on-site electrical construction supervision is required, including responsibility for contracted personnel. Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD, HELIOSCOPE, and AutoPlan, as well as Microsoft Office and tools such as multimeter, ammeter, earth resistance tester, lux meter, and manual measurement instruments. Candidates must have flexible working hours and willingness to travel depending on project locations; therefore, intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency, valid driver’s license, passport, and valid U.S. visa are also required. Key responsibilities include: Designing electrical systems for power generation plants. Designing photovoltaic systems. Designing battery-based energy storage systems. Designing electrical installations. Designing lighting systems. Preparing diagrams, calculation reports, and interpreting electrical drawings. Supervising proper on-site execution of electrical installations. Providing end-to-end project oversight for solar projects—from planning and construction through commissioning. Verifying actual on-site progress of electrical installations * Coordinating equipment receipt and validating technical specifications against purchase orders. Reviewing technical datasheets and participating in equipment selection. Performing battery system selection, design, and costing. Preparing quotations, budgets, and concept catalogs. * Evaluating projects at both technical and economic levels, considering: Investment cost, energy cost, and gas cost for integrated solutions. Managing solar projects during the construction phase. Consulting management regarding critical risks that may impact the project. Providing technical training, feedback, and team mentoring. Conducting domestic and international travel depending on project requirements. Ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety, and quality throughout all project phases. Salary range is set between $40,000 and $50,000 gross monthly, depending on experience, with potential for negotiation based on candidate profile or specialization.
