Position Summary: A professional with experience in a customs brokerage agency to review documentation, verify regulatory compliance, and advise on foreign trade operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customs documentation review and analysis 2. Advisory services for foreign trade operations 3. Verification of customs regulatory compliance Minimum 5 years of experience in a customs brokerage agency performing the following activities: Review proforma customs entry forms. Review shipment documentation. Review COVES to verify correctness. Review digitized documents to ensure completeness and consistency with customs clearance. Cross-check proforma information against the prior notice. Review classification along with applicable tariff and non-tariff regulations and restrictions. Record detected errors on the customs entry proforma. Complete the "Errors Detected in Second Review" register. Verify compliance with customs regulatory requirements imposed by the customs authority. Advise executives on handling various types of operations. Review and analyze updates to legislation to ensure compliance with customs regulations. Provide customer support and advisory services regarding foreign trade (import/export). Review traffic executives' case files to correct erroneous or incorrectly entered data. Support traffic executives with questions regarding classifications or tariff restrictions applicable to their customs entries. Reduce risk associated with any customs operation.
