Job Summary:
You will be responsible for managing the import and export of goods, acting as an intermediary between cargo owners and customs authorities. Additionally, you will handle customs entry filings (pedimentos), payment and receipt processing, accounts receivable, invoicing, and all matters related to proper client management. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing an effective documentation and invoicing strategy, as well as expanding the customs agency’s client portfolio.
Position Requirements:
* Experience working at a customs agency
* Proficiency with CASA or similar ERP systems
* Invoicing within ERP systems
* Calculation of tariff classification
* Payments and receipts
* Customs entry filing (pedimento) data entry
* Active and effective client communication
* Client supervision
* Customs duty payment processing
Responsibilities:\|
* Maintain impeccable accounts receivable and invoicing records
* Enter customs entries (pedimentos) according to specific requirements
* Operate CASA or similar systems
* Perform invoicing in CASA
* Maintain contact with clients regarding invoicing, payments, and information submission
* Manage documentation for payment processes
* Verify customs procedures
* Customs inspections
* Keep Excel templates updated for daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports as requested by your direct supervisor
* Calculate tariff classification
