Proven experience: 2 years EXPERIENCE IN: * Analyzing and determining actual and standard costs for newly manufactured products and production orders; monitoring variances related to efficiency, machine rates, and labor rates. * Performing activities associated with monthly period closing to compare changes affecting various cost components, as well as their impact on inventory valuation. * Conducting product cost simulations based on the needs of various users. * Identifying annual allocation drivers for indirect and fixed expenses to support new budget allocation for the upcoming fiscal year. * Updating machine activity rates, labor rates, and percentages for indirect and fixed expense surcharges for approval of the new fiscal year’s budget. * Generating cost information for external departments requesting such services; generating shipment reports (exclusive responsibility of the Plastics Plant and Raw Materials Cost Engineer); retrieving position-related data from systems (SAP); quantifying the value of inventory designated for tax-related destruction.
