Leadership in financial planning and internal control **Transportation Company Seeks: Controller** **Position Objective** Ensure the company’s financial, accounting, and tax integrity through supervision, control, and continuous improvement of accounting, budgeting, risk management, and regulatory compliance processes. Guarantee the reliability of financial information for strategic decision-making, fulfillment of legal and tax obligations, and efficient use of the company’s economic resources. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (degree holder). * 3–5 years of experience in similar positions (preferably in transportation or logistics sector). * Up-to-date knowledge of tax and accounting regulations. * Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (intermediate–advanced Excel). * Experience in budget preparation and control. * Management and monitoring of financial KPIs. * Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations. * Analytical skills, leadership, negotiation, and effective communication. * Willingness to travel (Reynosa – Monterrey). **Responsibilities** * Lead and supervise financial planning, budgeting, accounting, treasury, and internal control. * Lead finance departments to ensure operational efficiency, transparency, and cost control. * Design and implement policies and procedures to strengthen financial integrity and operational control. * Supervise compliance with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements per applicable legislation. * Consolidate and present financial statements and executive reports to senior management. * Coordinate internal and external audits, tracking findings and corrective actions. * Identify opportunities for improvement in administrative, financial, and logistical processes. * Supervise vehicle fleet management (including maintenance, documentation, and costs). * Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). * Promote an organizational culture based on control, efficiency, and continuous improvement. **We Offer** * Monthly gross salary of **$40,000 to $50,000** (negotiable based on experience). * Weekly payments. * Professional development and growth opportunities. * Results-oriented, innovative, and continuously improving work environment.
