***JOB OBJECTIVE*** Ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of food merchandise to customers and business partners, guaranteeing proper handling of refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods, as well as compliance with assigned routes, delivery schedules, and CIEMSA Foodservice operational policies. ***MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** * Deliver merchandise to customers according to assigned routes. * Verify that loaded orders match the delivery documentation. * Load and unload merchandise together with the distribution assistant. * Guarantee proper handling of refrigerated and frozen products, maintaining the cold chain. * Daily inspection of basic physical and mechanical conditions of the assigned vehicle. * Report on-route incidents, returns, shortages, or merchandise damage. * Comply with traffic regulations and road safety policies. * Support operational activities related to distribution and logistics when required. * Safeguard documentation corresponding to deliveries and routes. * Maintain constant communication with supervision and logistics operations. ***EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** A) Education * Completed secondary education (minimum). * High school diploma preferred. B) Experience * Minimum 1 year operating distribution or delivery vehicles. * Experience in foodservice distribution, refrigerated products, or last-mile logistics preferred. ***REQUIREMENTS*** * Valid driver's license appropriate for operating cargo and distribution vehicles. * Availability for operational work and physical loading tasks. * Good health condition. * Basic knowledge of local routes and highways. * Complete and valid personal documentation.
