We are seeking a Boilermaker to ensure the optimal, safe, and continuous operation of the steam boiler and its auxiliary equipment through proper inspection, ignition, monitoring, and shutdown of the system. The candidate is responsible for guaranteeing a constant and efficient supply of steam to the production area (pelletizing machine), complying with safety standards, maintaining strict logbook records, and promoting continuous improvement and preventive maintenance of the equipment. \* **Steam System Operation and Control**: Manage the complete steam boiler cycle (initial verification, ignition, continuous monitoring of pressure, water level, temperature, and fuel, and safe shutdown of the equipment). \* **Production Flow Assurance**: Monitor and promptly resolve any failures or deviations in steam delivery to the pelletizing machine to prevent production stoppages. \* **Maintenance and Safety**: Manage and request preventive and corrective maintenance services for the boiler every six months, while also monitoring safe conditions in the boiler room and for auxiliary equipment. \* **Internal Recordkeeping and Control**: Maintain daily and detailed records in the operational logbook, including levels and indicators, and analyze the previous shift's history.
