Job Summary: We are seeking an Engineer focused on ensuring the proper operation of robots and product quality, implementing improvements and resolving issues in the automotive sector. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in the automotive sector. 2. Knowledge of PLC and robot programming (ABB, Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley). 3. Responsibility for implementing improvements and resolving problems (8D methodology). **About the Company:** We are a technology-driven contract manufacturing company specializing in die-casting, machining, surface coating, decoration, and assembly. **Requirements:** * Mechatronics Engineering or related degree. * Experience in the Automotive Sector (Preferred) * Intermediate Excel skills (use of "VLOOKUP" formula, conditional statements, and pivot tables) * Intermediate English proficiency **Knowledge in:** Interpretation of engineering drawings Electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems Vision systems PLC programming Robot programming Sensor knowledge ABB robots PLC programming for Siemens, Omron, and Allen Bradley * Pneumatics * Hydraulics * Mechanics * General tool handling: multimeter, mechanical tools, etc. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities:** Ensure proper robot operation to meet product requirements. Supervise appropriate use of tooling, articulated robots, cutters, and robots to guarantee product quality. Monitor correct robot operation and escalate any anomalies detected to maintenance for prompt resolution. Responsible for reviewing end-of-arm tooling designs to ensure optimal plant productivity. Halt production when quality or documentation requirements are not met, and immediately initiate corrective action. Implement process or safety improvements for product development and participate in problem resolution using the 8D methodology.
