This position ensures efficient material flow that supports manufacturing, new product introductions, and service parts fulfillment. The Materials Manager plays a key role in inventory optimization, supplier performance, logistics coordination, and system improvements, while actively contributing to long\-term plant strategy and operational excellence.**Required Qualifications** --------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree required. * 5–8 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain operations. * Demonstrated people leadership experience. * Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning systems (MRP/ERP). * Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and materials flow principles. * Strong analytical, communication, and cross\-functional collaboration skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment. **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------------------- * APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent. * Experience supporting new product development and launch activities. * Proven experience driving materials management process improvements. * Experience working in multi\-site or global supply chain environments. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Provide leadership and direction to the materials management organization. * Develop and maintain effective inventory control and material planning processes to support production and service requirements. * Ensure adherence to inventory, warehousing, and material flow policies and procedures, collaborating with other sites to drive consistency. * Support flexible manufacturing and lead the implementation of pull systems with internal teams and suppliers. * Evaluate and improve materials systems and tools to enhance visibility and performance. * Collaborate closely with Purchasing and Logistics to improve overall supply chain efficiency. * Ensure service parts availability targets, including high fill\-rate performance. * Establish and manage departmental budgets and contribute to long\-term plant objectives. * Partner with Engineering on new product development and production readiness from a materials perspective. * Develop, track, and present monthly inventory and materials performance metrics. * Drive continuous improvement, talent development, and capability building within the materials team. *We are an ambitious, resourceful, and driven workforce, which empowers us to THINK OUTSIDE.
