We are looking for a talented **Electromechanical Technician II** to join our team, specializing in the **metalworking industry**, for **Cummins** in **Cienega de Flores**. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Ensure proper operation of area machinery. * Quickly and efficiently diagnose potential failures to reduce impact on production line continuity. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on area equipment and machinery. * Support the Maintenance Engineer in corrective actions and projects related to area equipment and machinery. * Effectively diagnose and repair failures to minimize impact on customers. * Identify potential risks and correct them before failures occur. * Apply safety procedures according to the nature of the work to be performed. * Execute maintenance programs on time and as scheduled. * Follow up on safety-reported actions. **To succeed in this role, you will need the following:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. * Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting failures in equipment with Allen Bradley PLCs and RSLogix 5000 software. * Knowledge of FANUC, ABB, and Motoman robots. * Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical presses. * Proficiency with clamp meters and multimeters. * Experience reading drawings (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic). * Essential knowledge of the LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) safety system. * Technical English. Apply safety procedures according to the nature of the work to be performed. Execute maintenance programs on time and as scheduled. Identify potential risks and correct them before failures occur (MDO \- Yellow Card). Effectively diagnose and repair failures to minimize impact on customers. Timely communicate current equipment status to customers. Follow up with vendors on subcontracted work and spare parts delivery tracking. Technical degree in: Electronics, Electromechanics, or Mechatronics. * 3+ years of experience. * PC proficiency; multimeter and clamp meter usage. * Desired: diagnosis\-troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and RSLogix 5000 software. * Desired: experience with mechanical and hydraulic presses. * Desired: knowledge of FANUC, ABB, and Motoman robots. * Knowledge and proficient use of manual mechanical and electrical tools. Knowledge of electrical control, basic electronics, medium- and low-voltage handling, and mechanical knowledge for repairing various devices and equipment. * Essential knowledge of the LOTO safety system. This person will be part of the Forging Line Maintenance team and serve as a fundamental frontline resource for resolving machinery and equipment issues, as well as providing support for any maintenance-related matters in the area. They will attend to and carry out preventive maintenance on area equipment and machinery. They will support the Maintenance Engineer in corrective actions and projects related to area equipment and machinery. Follow-up on MDO (Operational Daily Maintenance). Follow-up on safety-reported actions. Interpretation of electrical, hydraulic, and manual diagrams.
