Accounting Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage daily operations, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, invoicing, and support tax compliance and payroll processing. Responsibilities: 1. Daily recording of income, expense, and journal entries in the accounting software. Accounts Receivable and Payable: Monitor supplier invoice due dates and manage collections from customers. Bank Reconciliations: Compare bank statements with internal records to ensure balance accuracy. 2. Tax Compliance and Invoicing CFDI Issuance: Prepare electronic invoices, payment complements, and credit notes. Basic Tax Calculations: Assist in determining taxes such as VAT (IVA) and Income Tax (ISR), as well as preparing informative tax returns (e.g., DIOT). Tax Filing: Organize and securely store digital tax receipts (XML and PDF) in accordance with SAT regulations. 3. Treasury and Payroll Petty Cash Control: Supervise minor expenditures and process corresponding reimbursements. Payroll Support: Collect attendance-related incidents (absences, tardiness, overtime) for employee salary calculations and social security contributions (IMSS/Infonavit). 4. Report Preparation Prepare trial balances. Generate basic financial statements for review by the chief accountant. Maintain updated inventories and fixed asset records.
