Electrical Project Engineer (Licensed) Company: Electroconstructora SIPP de México Location: Metepec, State of Mexico Residence Requirement: Must reside in Metepec or Toluca, State of Mexico Work Mode: On-site Willingness to Travel: Yes Salary: $20,000–$25,000 monthly gross + statutory benefits Job Description We are seeking a licensed Electrical Project Engineer to participate in the development of electrical engineering for industrial projects, from field surveys to final delivery of drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Required Profile Licensed Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineer. Applicant must currently reside in Metepec or Toluca, State of Mexico. Essential Knowledge and Responsibilities Preparation and interpretation of single-line diagrams and electrical control diagrams. Development of load schedules. In-depth knowledge and practical application of NOM-001-SEDE-2012 in real projects. Experience in industrial electrical installations. Knowledge of electrical machinery (transformers and motors). Knowledge of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for panels, feeders, motors, and substations. Execution of infrared thermography for electrical installation diagnostics. Preparation of calculation reports, feeder selection, protection devices, and conduit sizing for indoor, outdoor, and classified areas. Project tracking from kickoff to closure, including review and generation of deliverables. Drawing generation: single-line diagrams, 2D and 3D routing layouts, Approved for Construction (AFC) and As-Built drawings. Field technical surveys and scope-of-work preparation, including activity descriptions and material quantity take-offs. Intermediate-to-advanced AutoCAD proficiency (2D and 3D). Proficiency in design and modeling software, preferably Autodesk Revit. Drawing rendering. Knowledge of transformer electrical testing (TTR, insulation resistance, turns ratio, Hi-Pot tests). Design and calculation of grounding systems per NOM-022-STPS-2015 and technical criteria issued by the Mexican Standards and Certification Association (ANCE). Design and calculation of lightning protection systems. Short-circuit current calculation and protection coordination. Arc flash studies. Knowledge of medium-voltage electrical systems, service entrances, and substation connections. Knowledge of compact and hypercompact substations. Proven experience in performing electrical engineering for projects (drawings, calculation reports, load schedules, and on-site surveys). Skills Technical analysis.
