Production Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking an Industrial Engineer or related professional with experience in plastic manufacturing to supervise production, ensure quality, and manage personnel and extrusion processes. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in polyethylene film extrusion and blow-film processes. 2. Personnel management and quality assurance in production. 3. Problem resolution and continuous process improvement. • Academic background: Industrial Engineering or related field • Knowledge of polyethylene film extrusion and blow-film processes. • Enforcement of safety standards • Adherence to the production schedule • Management of operational personnel • Assignment of tasks, directing compliance with production orders (volumes, quality, and time) • Implementation of 6S, material organization and arrangement • Management of semi-finished product supply, packaging materials, and consumables • Verification through routine monitoring that operators and processes comply with quality standards according to tolerances and specifications. • Immediate shutdown of processes or machinery upon identification of deviations from tolerances and specifications. • Resolution of process conditions that caused the defect. • Ensuring personnel under supervision understand the procedures to follow in case of defects in finished or semi-finished products • Reporting equipment failures and tracking their repair • Management of appropriate work tools according to the process (production order, quality checklist, operational production report) • Ensuring the record-keeping process and integrity of production data (operational report) • Waste control • Supporting operational staff, coaching • Reporting shift production results and identifying/reporting deviations • Staff training • Shift handover • Minimum three years’ experience in manufacturing processes (plastics), knowledge and operation of extrusion machines (calibration and adjustment), and use of measuring instruments. -Requirements- Minimum education: Higher Education - Bachelor’s Degree 3 years of experience Driver’s license: A Keywords: resident, supervisor, assistant manager, responsible person, coordinator, manager, captain, production, produce, fabrication, manufacturing, elaboration, making, manufacturing, production
