Tundish Operator Operate and monitor the continuous casting process, ensuring controlled pouring of molten steel into molds for billet production, guaranteeing quality, safety, and operational continuity. Perform temperature measurements, oxygen analysis, and sampling for process control. Monitor casting parameters and automatic level control in coordination with the console operator. Execute casting line startups, restarts, and supervision. Prepare, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on distributors, molds, and nozzle systems. Identify and report equipment or process failures or deviations. Support recovery activities, oxy-cutting, and operational cleaning as required. Comply with safety standards, energy isolation (lockout/tagout), and proper use of PPE. Maintain order and cleanliness of the area under the 5S methodology.
