The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in **Java 17\+, Spring Boot 3, and cloud architecture (GCP)** with the ability to manage clients and design robust end-to-end solutions from scratch. If you seek an environment that challenges your capabilities and values technical excellence within a modern cloud ecosystem, this is the place to take your career to the next level. ### **Responsibilities** * Lead and coordinate technical teams, ensuring milestone delivery and deliverable quality. * Manage direct client relationships for technical requirement gathering and refinement. * Design robust software architectures based on scalability and maintainability principles. * Develop complex code solutions and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC) to validate new technologies. * Ensure application of sound programming practices and security standards across the entire lifecycle. * Mentor team developers, fostering professional growth and technical cohesion. * Oversee deployment and operation of services in Google Cloud Platform environments. ### **Requirements** **Education:** Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of backend development experience within the Java ecosystem, and at least 3 years in technical leadership roles involving personnel management and comprehensive solution design. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot 3, Spring Security, and OAuth 2\.0\. * Google Cloud Platform: Secrets, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, PubSub, and Apigee. * Hexagonal Architecture and Clean Code principles (SOLID, KISS, DRY). * Version control with Git (GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines. * Unit testing with JUnit and static analysis with Sonar/SAST. * Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AlloyDB. * Use of generative AI tools (Claude, Gemini, or Copilot) for development optimization. * Desirable: Angular 15\+, OWASP security, and vulnerability remediation. ### **APPLY NOW and become part of this story!** **Conditions** --------------- * **Indefinite-term contract or contractor role** — We aim for long-term relationships and want you to be part of our family for many years! * **Seeking professional growth?** At Sofka, we offer a **learning ecosystem** with multiple tools to bridge skill gaps and enhance your capabilities.
