This opportunity is for you! ### **Minimum Requirements:** * **Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Java programming, unit testing, and SQL.** * **Availability to start immediately on September 1st.** ### **Required Knowledge and Proficiency:** * Primitive data types and control structures (if, for, while, switch). * Declaration and use of classes, objects, methods, and attributes. * Object-oriented programming principles: encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. * Basic use of interfaces and abstract classes. * Java collections: ArrayList, HashMap, HashSet, among others. * Basic exception handling: use of try, catch, throw, throws. * File reading and writing using classes from the java.io package. * Understanding of Java project structure and package usage. * Basic Git usage: cloning repositories, committing, and pushing. * Ability to run Java applications from an IDE or command line. * Basic knowledge of unit testing with JUnit. * **Use of JDBC to connect to databases and execute simple SQL queries.** * **Basic knowledge of Maven.** * Experience working with REST services. * **Experience programming in Python.** ### **WE OFFER:** * **A $18,000 gross stipend for the six-week duration of the academy.** * The **academy is REMOTE in CDMX; in-person APX certification in CDMX** * **Full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.** * Opportunity for a permanent hybrid contract with a Big4 client in CDMX, at the client’s offices on Reforma and Santa Fe. * Job offer based on experience and performance during the academy.
