Summary: Seeking an Electronic Hardware Design & Release Engineer to manage technical assessment, redesign, and release of electronic components affected by obsolescence, ensuring form-fit-function compatibility and compliance with automotive standards. Highlights: 1. Lead technical evaluation and qualification of electronic components 2. Drive change management through PLM systems including ECNs/ECRs 3. Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, A-SPICE, and AEC-Q standards ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an **Electronic Hardware Design \& Release Engineer** who will be responsible for the **technical assessment, redesign, and release** of electronic components impacted by obsolescence. They ensure **form‑fit‑function** compatibility, review electronic schematics and PCB designs, manage **BOM updates and PLM documentation**, lead engineering change processes (ECN/ECR), collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure compliance with automotive standards such as **ISO 26262, A‑SPICE, and AEC‑Q**. \- **Location:** México \- **Experience Level:** 5\+ years \- **English:** B2–C1 **\-Valid visa** **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the technical evaluation, selection and qualification of replacement electronic components. * Ensure form\-fit\-function compatibility, performing detailed electrical, mechanical and functional assessments. * Review and support updates of electronic schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and PLM documentation. * Drive change management through **PLM systems (Arena PLM, 3DX) including ECNs/ECRs.** * Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, quality, validation and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration. * Apply automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASIL, A\-SPICE, AEC\-Q100/Q200\) throughout the release process. * Support prototyping, bench evaluation and integration of new components. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering** or related field. * **5\+ years** in electronic design, release engineering or ECU component engineering. * Strong communication, collaboration and supplier\-facing skills. * Experience in **BOM Management, PLM, Design Release.** * Knowledge of schematics, **PCB design, CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication.** * Knowledge of standards: **ISO 26262, ASIL, A\-SPICE, AEC\-Q100/200\.** * Proficiency in tools: **JIRA, Arena PLM, Siemens Capital, CANoe/CANalyzer, Altium, Ansys.** * Experience in design with tools such as **3DX** * Experience in communication protocols (**CAN/LIN, Ethernet)** * Experience in **project management and engineering change**s * Knowledge of **PCB design** * Experience in **CANoe/CANalyzer** * Experience in r**equirements management analysis** * **Advanced English.** Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por obra o tiempo determinado Duración del contrato: 18 meses Sueldo: $33,000\.81 \- $34,000\.72 al mes Lugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
