Collaborate with analytics and data science teams About the Role As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure using AWS services, with a focus on AWS Redshift. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and optimal performance of data systems. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with data analytics and data science teams to ensure data integrity and quality, and to implement efficient data processing and storage solutions. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data architecture using AWS services, particularly AWS Redshift. * Develop and optimize data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of large volumes of data into Redshift. * Implement best practices to ensure data system security, availability, and performance. * Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. * Perform monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization of Redshift to ensure efficient query processing and rapid response times. * Participate in identifying and resolving performance, reliability, and scalability issues within data systems. Requirements: * Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, with specific focus on the AWS platform and hands-on experience with AWS Redshift. * Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud-based data system design and architecture concepts. * Experience designing and developing data pipelines using ETL and orchestration tools, preferably with hands-on experience in AWS Glue or similar tools. * Solid SQL expertise and experience designing and optimizing complex queries. * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills. * Relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
