Whether it's a commercial or passenger vehicle, the chassis plays a crucial role in safety, comfort, and dynamics. ZF not only develops essential components such as steering, braking, or suspension systems, but also integrates all onboard systems involved in longitudinal, lateral, or vertical acceleration. This ensures a smooth and comfortable driving experience without abrupt jolts, regardless of whether occupants are driving themselves or being driven by someone else. We are seeking a Controls Engineer for our Santa Rosa plant **What you can expect as a Controls Engineer:** * Provide efficient support to Operations through root cause analysis of production failures. * Manage the ANDON system: diagnose faults, debug sequences, and review test equipment, HMIs, and programmable devices. * Analyze issues affecting line availability (3x5, change over). * Develop preventive programming for fault diagnosis, inspection, and testing, including electrical engineering and PLCs. * Perform program and equipment backups to ensure proper storage. * Review and validate programming for new production lines. * Provide technical feedback to the AME team on project progress and findings. * Create and track Preventive Maintenance (PMs). **Your profile as a Controls Engineer:** * Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles (Controls Engineer) * Intermediate English – must be able to speak it. * Availability to work shifts and weekends. * Advanced knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley PLCs * Advanced knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley Servos * Knowledge and experience with Keyence Vision Systems **Why choose ZF in Santa Rosa?:** * Benefits exceeding legal requirements Be part of our ZF team as Controls Engineer and apply now! **What does DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) mean for ZF as a company?** -------------------------------------------------------------------------- At ZF, we continuously strive to build and maintain a culture where inclusiveness is lived and diversity is valued.
