Taking corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues using established methodologies. Continuous improvement of productivity and scrap indicators. Ensuring equipment operates safely. **Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)** ----------------------------------------------------------- * Participation in New Product Introduction (NPI) in the SMT area (NPI support). * Programming of SMT-area machines. * Generation of necessary documentation for SMT equipment operation. * Provision of required support to Manufacturing, SMT, and Backend areas. * Responsibility for line metrics (OEE, Yield Loss, Scrap, Available Time). * Process and program optimization. * Definition and proposals to improve layout. * Improvement of machine performance. * Responsibility for designing and specifying required tooling (stencils, fixtures, bases, etc.). * Support for engineering changes impacting an SMT-related product or process. * Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental programs and policies to prevent accidents within the area of responsibility or at company facilities. * Promoting discipline, cleanliness, order, and cost reduction within the area of responsibility. * Tracking actions identified from continuous improvement activities. * Providing support and actively participating in continuous improvement events. * Participation in maintaining the SMT area within the 5S metric target. * Maintaining product traceability throughout the process. * Implementation of best practices. * Definition of consumables. * Management of utilization and downtime / Creation of continuous improvement activities / MTBF, MTTR. **Basic Requirements** ---------------------- * Lean Manufacturing * Process Control * Green Belt * PFMEA * Conversational English * Advanced Office software proficiency * Personnel management * New product implementation * Problem Solving (Tools) * BSF System * Quality Management System * ADP System proficiency We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
