**Regional Sales Representative — LPR Generators Opportunity Summary:**
The Regional Sales Representative will identify, support, and develop sales opportunities for power generators with a maximum output of 1000 kW, including emergency generators, prime power generation equipment, and mobile generators—diesel or natural gas powered. Additionally, the representative will identify and develop sales opportunities for mobile light towers. These products will be marketed and sold to industrial and commercial sectors, such as residential, vertical, and infrastructure construction developers; electrical contractors; industrial manufacturing companies and facilities; hospitals; airports; general contractors; and equipment rental contractors. The role also includes managing post-sale service and maintenance contract execution for sold equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Build relationships with various commercial partners and suppliers, and gain deep knowledge of their sustainable product offerings.
* Prospect for new customers and generate sales opportunities through all available sources, including but not limited to existing contact lists, referrals from WW Williams sales staff, supplier referrals, trade magazines, trade shows and conferences, project listing publications, general and electrical contractors, and engineering learning lunches.
* Contact customers, investigate their diverse needs, and offer solutions using our products and services.
* Attend relevant trade shows and conferences to represent and promote Williams and Williams solutions—including Williams services and Williams OEM products.
* Promote the full portfolio of sustainable products in Mexico.
* Collaborate closely with the ESS Department to seek assistance in project management and engineering.
* Learn and use the OEM order entry and quotation system.
* Assist in generating and reviewing customer shipments.
* Collaborate with and contact engineering firms, general contractors, electrical contractors, end users, and others. Also become familiar with auxiliary equipment suppliers’ products—such as ATS units, other switching equipment, and base control systems—and request quotations from them.
* Coordinate lead generation and sales support with other sales representatives and managers.
* Support and participate in commercial partner training sessions and project update meetings.
* Use Salesforce as a contact management system.
* Provide periodic updates and reports as required by the supervisor and executive management team.
* Adhere to all company pricing guidelines.
* Close sales and seek executive management support when necessary.
* Ensure closed projects progress toward completion in a manner consistent with Williams’ commitments.
* Conduct post-mortem project evaluations as needed.
**Work Experience and Qualifications:**
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred.
Experience — Technical: Knowledge of power generation equipment and systems is highly valued. Familiarity with power generation applications is required.
Industrial equipment sales experience, preferably in power generation, construction, electrical contracting, or power generation equipment rental industries.
Relationships: Prior experience with generators and generator package integrators is highly advantageous.
Language: Must possess professional-level written and oral Spanish communication skills, and strong English reading comprehension. Must be able to understand technical specifications. Must be capable of developing comprehensive technical sales presentations in PowerPoint.
Mathematics/Reasoning: Must understand fundamental mathematical principles and be able to solve problems quickly using sound logic.
Computer Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft business systems—including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint—is required. Proficiency in navigating and using CRM systems such as Salesforce is required. Ability to rapidly learn WW Williams’ proprietary enterprise system is required.
Transportation: A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required, along with willingness to travel by air as required by the position. A U.S. passport or visa is not required.
Physical Requirements: No mobility restrictions, due to frequent visits to industrial facilities, hard-to-access sites, and even mining locations.
Non-Compete: Candidates must agree not to directly compete with WW Williams in selling its various lines of sustainable products.
