Position Summary: This position involves the proper operation of a vehicle to fulfill daily HUB delivery routes, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of merchandise. Key Highlights: 1. Compliance with the delivery route from HUB to satellite stores. 2. Loading and unloading of merchandise, and collection of returns. 3. Daily inspection of the assigned vehicle for maintenance. **Job Description** Properly operate the vehicle assigned by AutoZone in accordance with company driving policies to ensure coverage of daily HUB delivery routes as defined by established usage policies, guaranteeing adherence to scheduled pickup and delivery times for merchandise to assigned stores. **Responsibilities** * Execute the delivery route from HUB to satellite stores according to logistics instructions provided by the HUB Coordinator, using the vehicle assigned by AutoZone. * Load and unload merchandise in compliance with handling requirements; collect merchandise returns and empty totes from satellite stores to ensure on-time order delivery to our stores and support store availability of required products for timely sales execution. * Conduct daily inspections of the assigned vehicle using the provided checklist to verify its operational condition and identify required maintenance items. Perform daily mileage tracking, recording both the starting odometer reading and the ending odometer reading upon completion of daily duties. * **Requirements** * Technical degree * One or two years of experience * Prior experience in logistics route management, merchandise delivery, and distribution * Minimum age of 21 * Availability for rotating shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
