We are seeking an analytical, organized, and proactive **General Accountant** who ensures accurate accounting recordkeeping in Mexico and collaborates closely with our corporate office in the United States. This role is critical to ensuring timely closings, reliable financial information, and compliance with MEXGAAP and IFRS/IFRS. **Key Responsibilities** * Review, analyze, and reconcile accounting and tax records in accordance with MEXGAAP and IFRS/IFRS. * Coordinate and execute monthly and annual financial closings. * Prepare financial statements (P\&L, Balance Sheet) and reports for internal audit. * Provide technical support to key areas: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Cost Accounting (provisions and adjustments). * Prepare and validate balance sheet reconciliations (banks, cash, payroll, travel expenses, fixed assets, among others). * Coordinate closings, reconciliations, and reporting with the corporate team in the U.S. * Support internal and external audits, as well as the implementation of controls and process improvements. **Profile We Seek** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory). * 5 years of experience in general accounting. * Strong technical knowledge of **IFRS / IFRS**. * Experience in high-demand environments, auditing, or top-tier accounting consulting firms will be highly valued. * Intermediate–advanced English proficiency. * Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and results orientation. **What We Offer** * Salary: $30,000 – $40,000 MXN per month (based on experience). * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * On-site work arrangement. * Professional development and exposure to multinational operations. * Stability and growth within a structured and collaborative environment.
