Field Auditor (Procurement and Inventory)

We are seeking a **Field Auditor (Procurement and Inventory)** **Position Objective** To verify on-site the proper implementation of procurement and inventory control processes, ensuring that acquired tools and materials match supporting documentation, physically exist, and are recorded at correct prices without irregularities. **Key Responsibilities** · Physical inventory audit · Conduct physical counts of tools and materials. · Compare physical stock against accounting or administrative records. · Identify shortages, overages, or inconsistencies. · Documentation review · Validate invoices, purchase orders, quotations, and warehouse receipts. · Verify that billed prices match authorized prices. · Ensure purchases have appropriate authorization. · Field validation · Confirm that purchased tools physically exist. · Verify their condition and usage within operations. · Detect potential fictitious or overpriced purchases. · Price analysis · Assess whether purchase prices fall within market ranges. · Identify unjustified variances or suspicious suppliers. · Findings reporting · Prepare audit reports with supporting evidence. · Document deviations, risks, or potential fraud. · Propose improvements to internal controls. **Follow-up** · Track corrective actions arising from audits. · Support improvements to procurement and warehouse processes. · Position Requirements **Education** · Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. **3–5 years of experience in:** · Internal auditing · Inventory control · Procurement review · Operational or field auditing **Technical Knowledge** · Internal auditing · Internal control · Inventory and warehousing · Procurement processes · Invoice review · Intermediate Excel · Basic tax regulations **Desirable Knowledge of:** · ERP systems (Alpha, CONTPAQi, etc.) **Key Competencies** · High level of observation · Critical thinking · Integrity and ethics · Ability to detect anomalies · Clear communication in reporting · Organization and follow-up · Performance indicators (KPIs) · Audits performed vs. plan · Deviations identified · Loss recovery or prevention · Report delivery timeliness · Compliance with internal controls **Position Conditions** · Primarily field-based work · Willingness to visit branches, warehouses, or project sites · Preparation of periodic reports **Location:** Avenida Águila Azteca \#121, Parque Industrial Milimex, Ciénega de Flores.
