




Job Summary: We are seeking a DOCUMENT CONTROL - ARCHIVAL SCIENCE specialist to administer, control, and monitor the documentary file of a railway project, ensuring traceability and availability of information. Guarantees proper organization, safeguarding, and updating of documentation A large-scale consortium is currently recruiting personnel for a railway project (Querétaro - Irapuato Train), for the position of: **DOCUMENT CONTROL - ARCHIVAL SCIENCE** **OBJECTIVE:** To administer, control, and monitor the documentary file of the executive project, guaranteeing traceability of the processes of issuance, review, validation, authorization, and updating of technical documents, drawings, bulletins, and memoranda, ensuring proper organization, safeguarding, and availability of information for consultation, tracking, and documentary closure of the project. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in archival administration and document management, archival science, archival administration and document management, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in document control, technical file administration, construction projects, road or railway infrastructure, public works, or administrative management in engineering. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Administer the executive project’s documentary file, ensuring proper organization, updating, and safeguarding of technical information. * Provide traceability for the documentary process of issuance, review, validation, authorization, and updating of drawings, bulletins, and technical documents. * Control and update databases related to the executive project and technical documentation. * Track bulletins, technical notes, memoranda, and documentation issued by engineering and supervision teams. * Draft letters, official correspondence, and memoranda addressed to designers, contractors, and government agencies. * Integrate, control, and administer the As-Built documentation of the railway project. * Maintain up-to-date version, revision, and status control of project documentation. * Coordinate receipt, registration, and distribution of technical documentation among various project departments. * Compile documentary inventories for dispatch and archiving in the institutional archive. * Support the Engineering Management team in administrative and documentary tracking of the project. * Verify that technical documentation complies with established formats, nomenclatures, and procedures. * Facilitate document consultation, location, and retrieval for internal and external project users. * Ensure correct classification and physical/digital archiving of project documentation.
