




Position Summary: Coordinate payroll, benefits, and tax audit functions, recordkeeping, and reporting, maintaining the linkage between HR, Payroll, and Finance. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of Accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations **POSITION SUMMARY** Coordinate audit functions, recordkeeping, and reporting to ensure proper application, calculation, and reporting of payroll, benefits, and tax data. Maintain linkage among HR, Payroll, and Finance departments to ensure Payroll function is coordinated across the organization. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Responsible for reviewing attendance records for all payroll employees. * Review authorized overtime hours. * Knowledge of tax area as it relates to payroll calculation. * Knowledge of Accounting, preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. * Ensure inclusion of all required deductions and review taxes, deductions, and loans calculated in payroll (ISR, IMSS, FONACOT, INFONAVIT, etc.). * Complete check request forms and/or transfer requests for payroll-related payments. * Review integrated salaries on a bimonthly basis. * Maintain electronic archives of all payroll-related information, including pay stubs, payroll registers, etc. * Track unpaid settlement payments (finiquitos), prepare listings, and forward to Accounts Payable for check cancellation. * Prepare overtime charts. * Responsible for reviewing deductions to ensure correct FONACOT payment. * Prepare payroll reconciliations. * Submit weekly payroll estimates. * Process annual PTU, Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo), and Savings Fund (Fondo de Ahorro) payrolls. * Reconcile the Savings Fund (Fondo de Ahorro). * Submit contribution files weekly. * Stamp payroll and send receipts via TRESS. * Upload required files to the Food Voucher (Vales de Despensa) portal to ensure timely and accurate voucher payments. **QUALIFICATIONS** * 5 years of experience preparing payroll in the maquiladora sector. * Expert in using the TRESS system (mandatory). * Proficiency with computer software (Excel, Word). * Maintain control over necessary information for payroll generation. * Responsible and organized individual with strong sense of urgency. **EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
