We design and produce advanced electric drive systems for the automotive industry, and we are looking for highly skilled maintenance technicians to ensure our production lines operate at peak efficiency. **Position Overview:** The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated production equipment. This includes programmable logic controllers (PLC), vision control systems, electrical diagrams, and other industrial automation technologies. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, hands\-on experience with industrial automation, and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, focusing on automated systems. * Troubleshoot and repair PLC\-controlled machinery, including programming logic review, debugging, and optimization. * Maintain and calibrate **vision systems**, sensors, and other quality control devices integrated into production lines. * Read, interpret, and execute electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. * Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to implement process improvements and reduce downtime. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in automated machinery. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. * Document maintenance activities, report equipment performance, and recommend upgrades or modifications. **Required Qualifications:** * Technical degree in **Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field**. * Minimum **3–5 years** of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or electric motors. * Proven experience with **PLC programming and troubleshooting** (Siemens, Allen\-Bradley, or equivalent). * Hands\-on experience with **vision systems / machine vision / quality inspection systems**. * Strong knowledge of **electrical diagrams, wiring, and industrial automation components**. * Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, and actuators. * Excellent problem\-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. * Strong teamwork and communication skills. * English proficiency is a plus. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with **HMI panels, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols** (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). * Knowledge of **robotics maintenance and programming**. * Continuous improvement mindset (Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma). **Why Join Nidec Amec:** * Work with **cutting\-edge technology** in electric motor automation. * Be part of a **global company** driving the future of mobility. * Opportunities for **professional growth and skill development**. * Collaborative, safety\-focused, and innovative work environment. **Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:** **Nidec Amec** is a global company and an equal opportunity employer.
