Your mission will be: * Receive and inspect sample integrity, and classify samples according to risk * Store samples appropriately until intake and delivery to the technical area for analysis * Register information in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for requested analyses based on received documentation * Deliver work orders and attached microbiology labels with samples to the laboratory * Identify and/or notify relevant departments of information discrepancies to ensure timely sample intake * Prepare samples for shipment to other facilities/laboratory(ies) as required per subcontracting workflow * Record and track samples sent to subcontracted laboratories or other facilities * Maintain up-to-date equipment and temperature records * Update records accurately **YOUR SKILLS** * Education and professional experience: Professionals / Technicians with desirable experience in Food, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc. * This position requires basic computer knowledge and keyboard proficiency to enter sample information into LIMS * Basic knowledge of microbiology and chemistry is helpful for assigning correct test codes * Extensive familiarity with personal computer software and data entry skills is required to input data into LIMS and generate special reports * Organizational skills are required to maintain tracking/tracing of intakes and documentation **WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?** * Because you would contribute to an **inspiring Public Health mission**, supported by visionary and long-term shareholders * Because you would have an **impact on our strategic pillars**, built upon 50 years of experience and expertise * Because you would become part of **a community of enthusiastic and skilled individuals** who love co-constructing together and serving a purpose greater than themselves * Because you would be **welcomed just as you are**, in a diverse and open-minded environment enriched by our uniqueness and differences * Because you would grow within an **international group of over 8,200 fantastic employees**, with abundant opportunities to learn and share **Ready for the journey?** **To apply, click the 'Apply Now' button**
