




**GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE** Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of IENTC’s network infrastructure. This involves actively monitoring and managing the network to prevent and resolve issues, guaranteeing service availability and performance, coordinating with technical teams and vendors, and contributing to continuous infrastructure improvement to maintain optimal connectivity and security. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** 1. Proactively monitor and analyze network health, performance, and availability. 2. Detect and resolve network issues, such as outages, congestion, or performance degradation. 3. Coordinate with technical support teams and vendors to resolve issues. 4. Manage and respond to alarms and alerts generated by monitoring systems. 5. Maintain and update network documentation, including topology and configurations. 6. Administer routers, switches, and other network devices. 7. Provide technical support to WISP and Carrier customers in case of connectivity issues. 8. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in networking and telecommunications. 9. Conduct incident analysis and post-mortems to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. 10. Oversee IP address administration and subnet allocation. **EDUCATION** Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Telematics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Information Sciences and Technologies, or equivalent. **EXPERIENCE:** NOC Engineers must possess advanced knowledge of networks, communication protocols, operating systems, information security, server administration, and monitoring tools. Additionally, they must stay informed about trends and technological advancements in networking and telecommunications. **TECHNICAL SKILLS:** * Google Suite * Advanced English * Configuration and administration of network devices (Routing & Switching) * Network protocols (SNMP, ICMP, SSH, TELNET, LACP, TCP/IP, UDP) * Network monitoring and management tools (PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds) * Network security (ACL) * Network troubleshooting * IP address management for IPv4 and IPv6 (DHCP, DNS, subnetting, VLSM) * Incident and change management * Customer service * Ticketing systems
