**IT Recruitment is seeking a Junior On-Site Technical Support Engineer in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City**

As our coverage expands, we are seeking Trainee Technical Support Engineers to provide on-demand branch support.
**Your Role:** You will be responsible for resolving on-site incidents (at various locations) related to networks, peripherals, cabling, and/or POS (point-of-sale terminals), in accordance with defined service-level agreements.

**Our Value Proposition**
* **Compensation:** 13,000 pesos per month, tax-free (including statutory benefits and an indefinite-term employment contract).
* If you own a car or motorcycle: fuel reimbursement plus 40% of maintenance costs; otherwise, travel allowances are provided.
* **Working Hours:** Monday to Saturday, in two shifts — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Sunday on-call duties rotate, with corresponding Saturday rest days).
* **Work Location:** Primarily remote (home office), with on-site visits as required.
**What We’re Looking For:**
* Minimum 1 year of experience as: Technical Support Trainee, Technical Support Intern, Service Desk Agent, Systems Assistant, Systems Analyst, Telecom Engineer, Telecom Consultant, or Structured Cabling Technician.
* Students, dropouts, or interns pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
* Optional: Personal vehicle (car or motorcycle) with valid driver’s license.
* Strong interpersonal skills and openness to supporting branch users.
* Availability to provide field support across multiple locations for implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networks, access points (APs), cabling, devices, etc.
* Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VLAN networks; familiarity with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands; site surveys, heat maps, network topologies, equipment configuration, network change implementation, etc. Knowledge of Access Points, Routers, Switches, Wireless technologies, Codecs, Modems, and similar devices is required.
* 6 months to 1 year of experience installing and supporting structured cabling (basic tool handling, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
* Familiarity with at least one ticketing platform for incident management, logging, tracking, and resolution.
* Experience identifying faults, root causes, hardware replacements, and new equipment installations.
* Ability to prepare evidence reports, document activities, and escalate issues to third-party vendors when needed.
* Prior experience supporting point-of-sale (POS) terminals, printers, and peripherals is highly desirable.
