**People Hackers is seeking a Junior On-Site Support Engineer in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City**

We are Premier Partners of Cisco, Fortinet, and Avaya. As our coverage expands, we are seeking Trainee Technical Support Engineers to provide on-demand branch support.
**Your Role:** You will be responsible for on-site incident resolution (at various locations) related to networks, peripherals, cabling, and/or POS (point-of-sale terminals), in accordance with defined service levels.

**Value Proposition**
* **Monthly Salary:** MXN 13,000 net (statutory benefits and indefinite-term contract)
* If you own a car or motorcycle: fuel reimbursement plus 40% of maintenance costs; otherwise, per diem allowance.
* **Working Hours:** Monday to Saturday, two shifts available — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Sunday on-call duties rotate with Saturday off).
* **Work Location:** Remote work (Home Office) and on-site attendance as required.
**What We’re Looking For:**
* 1 year of experience as: Technical Support Trainee, Technical Support Intern, Service Desk Agent, Systems Assistant, Systems Analyst, Telecom Engineer, Telecommunications Consultant, or Cabling Technician.
* Students, dropouts, or interns pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
* Optional: Car or motorcycle (valid driver’s license)
* Openness and user-facing skills for supporting branch staff.
* Availability for field support across multiple locations regarding implementation, configuration, and support for networks, access points (APs), cabling, devices, etc.
* 6 months of experience in LAN, WAN, VLAN networks; handling of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies; site surveys, heat maps, network topologies, equipment configuration, network change implementation, etc. Familiarity with Access Points, Routers, Switches, Wireless systems, CODECs, Modems, etc.
* 6 months to 1 year of experience installing and supporting structured cabling (basic tool handling, installation, maintenance, and support).
* Familiarity with at least one ticketing platform for incident handling, logging, tracking, and closure.
* Experience identifying failures, root causes, equipment replacements, and new installations.
* Evidence reporting, activity documentation, and third-party escalations.
* Highly desirable: Experience supporting point-of-sale (POS) terminals, printers, and peripherals.
