GENERAL JOB FUNCTION Operate grinding equipment and package Finished Product on time and as specified per Operating Instruction OI/10 Grinding Operation (Milling Machine 10\), complying with process specifications. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Apply instruction SI/05 “Log Out, Tag Out (LOTO)” when applicable, per your work instruction. Clean the mill equipment according to the cleaning type assigned to the product and the production sequence and plan, ensuring no residue from the previous batch remains before starting the next lot, and per Operating Instruction OI/10 Grinding Operation (Milling Machine 10\). Perform a cleaning checklist to verify the equipment is in optimal operating condition and proceed with the next production lot per the production sequence. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Receive product from the extruder area to perform sampling at the mill per Operating Instruction OI/10 Grinding Operation (Milling Machine 10\). Operate the PLC to select required process parameters per Process Log OF/06 Mill Log. Conduct initial sampling to verify with the Quality department that the product meets quality and process specifications. Record all operational movements and adjustments in the operation log to maintain control over process specifications per Operating Instruction OI/10 Grinding Operations (Milling Machine 10\) and OI/11 Additive Addition in Mills. Fill, weigh, package, and stack into boxes per Operating Instruction OI/10 Grinding Operations (Milling Machine 10\) and Process Log OF/06 Mill Log to meet process specifications. Complete the visual performance measurement board entries for cleaning time, startup time, adjustment time, kilograms, and lots produced. Participate in Production area improvement initiatives. Comply with Quality System requirements, RC ISO 14001, and EHS requirements. CHALLENGES, AUTONOMY, AND PROBLEM SOLVING * Adjust mill process parameters per area instruction. * Make timely decisions to stop equipment upon detecting any process anomaly, with prompt notification. * Replace mesh screens per Operating Instruction (OI/10\) Grinding Operations (Milling Machine 10\). * Keep area performance indicators updated on the assigned board. * Optimize downtime. * Perform preventive equipment maintenance. TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE * Experience in PLC operation and/or minimum 3 years’ experience in powder coating grinding processes. * Compliance with internal EHS\&S and Process training program. * Knowledge of and ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Proficiency in basic mathematics. * Ability to work under pressure, collaborate in teams, and work independently. * Tool handling skills. INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS * Quality Assurance: For submission of mill samples and product validation. * Forklift Operator: To request material to begin milling. * Filter Operator: To request clean parts for the mill equipment. * Maintenance Personnel: For equipment inspection.
