We are looking for a **Defect Manager** to manage the defect lifecycle in critical telecommunications projects. You will be the key liaison between the development team, QA, and business areas. **Value Proposition** * **Work Location:** Col. del Valle, CDMX. * **Work Mode:** Hybrid (Remote / On-site). * **Salary:** Competitive, negotiable based on experience. **Mandatory Requirements** * **Experience:** Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience in defect management, leading **Triage** sessions, and generating executive reports. * **Certification:** ISTQB Foundation Level (**Mandatory**). * **English:** Intermediate \- Advanced (able to lead technical discussions and negotiations). * **Business Knowledge:** Familiarity with **Telecommunications / AT\&T** processes. * **Methodologies:** Project Management, SCRUM, SDLC, and defect lifecycle. * **Automation:** Experience in UI automation (Selenium, RPA) and CI/CD pipelines. **Technology Tools** * **Management:** Jira, ServiceNow or similar. * **Test Management:** Xray, Zephyr or test management integrations. * **Ecosystem:** Selenium, RPA, code repositories, and CI/CD. **Key Responsibilities** * **Defect Governance:** Exercise full control over the incident management process. * **Triage Leadership:** Moderate and prioritize defects with Development and Business teams. * **Operational Tracking:** Ensure tracking, re\-test, verification, and closure of each ticket. * **Executive Reporting:** Generate metrics and status reports for senior leadership. * **Root Cause Analysis (RCA):** Identify failure origins to propose improvements in the development lifecycle. **Desired Profile (Soft Skills)** * Logical thinking and rational analytical ability. * Effective communication (ability to deliver bad news constructively). * Proactivity and strong customer service orientation.
