Job Summary: A major financial institution is seeking an experienced Collections Manager with expertise in recovering overdue and written-off portfolios, performing telephone and administrative credit management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Management of portfolios of overdue and written-off credits 2. Administration of assigned account portfolios 3. Negotiation of payment agreements and handling of objections A leading Mexican multiple-banking institution specializing in payroll-deducted personal loans within the government sector, with over 3,000 employees, seeks a Collections Manager due to expansion. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, or related fields. 2 years of experience in: Banking and/or credit recovery sectors, Administrative functions focused on collections and/or portfolio management, Collection management of overdue and written-off portfolios, Technical knowledge or specific tools. Familiarity with the Mc Collect system, Familiarity with the CCC system, Basic computer operation skills. Responsibilities: Telephone management of assigned credits. Establishing effective contact with debtors who have outstanding balances. Assisting debtors by offering various authorized repayment plans. Drafting payment agreements with debtors to settle outstanding balances. Identifying potential clients who comply with their contractual payment obligations. Tracing debtors who are difficult to locate. Portfolio administration for managing all assigned accounts. Handling objections to reach mutually agreeable payment terms.
