Production Operator The Production Operator (dry area) sets up production equipment and supplies prior to executing work orders. Operates equipment safely and effectively for production processing. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure production capacity and quality. Our customers choose Niagara bottled water products based on their high quality, affordable prices, and exceptional service. **Description** **Role Responsibilities** * *All responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following scope.* * Responsible for maintaining equipment in their area within operational parameters (Variopac, Robobox, Palletizer, and Stacker), including equipment shutdowns and startups as needed, and all necessary actions to ensure continuous production and equipment operability. * Responsible for accurate and timely completion and updating of line records, including machinery status reports, quality tests, downtime logs, and any other relevant indicators. * Stack, pack, and return to storage all materials not required on the production line, while maintaining order and sufficient quantities of materials used on the production line within the designated area. * Understand and follow company safety standards, including safe operation of cranes and equipment to perform daily tasks. * Perform lubrication and cleaning activities as required within their work area. * Ensure compliance with food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System. * Report any deviations, issues, and/or abnormalities related to equipment, processes, and products. High standards in plant safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. **Requirements** * Engineering or technical degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electromechanical, or related fields. * Minimum experience in a similar role performing similar duties, including troubleshooting machinery failures and services.
