The bilingual interpreter position is offered on a FREELANCE basis, meaning no benefits are provided; payment is based on connected hours (regardless of whether calls occur or not). Calls are for the company LLS (LanguageLine Solutions), facilitated by us — Solucenter. Work is performed using a computer, not a mobile phone. Having another job does not affect your eligibility; this opportunity is ideal if you wish to earn extra income or prefer working from home. We require applicants to reside in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, or Nicaragua, and to be able to obtain a clean criminal background check letter and possess valid identification. **Currently, only experienced candidates are accepted, as we do not offer training courses.** HIRING PROCESS: Step 1 \- AMCAT exam, assessing fluency and grammar in Spanish and English. Step 2 \- ISA L4 exam, a practical test related to medical interpretation in Spanish and English. Step 3 \- Induction modules and NHO orientation session. Once AMCAT and ISA exams are passed, access will be granted to approximately 69 remote video modules, which can be completed at your preferred schedule from home (module durations vary — some finish them in one day, others take two days). The NHO orientation session lasts approximately 3–4 hours. Step 4 \- Interview for call assignment. After completing Step 3, you will proceed to an interview with the Quality Department, who will approve activation of your PIN to access the call portal, enabling you to begin earning income with us. WORK CONDITIONS. **SCHEDULE:** Shift 1 Mondays and Tuesdays, 6 AM – 2 PM (Pacific Time) (during off-peak season) with optional weekend and Wednesday–Friday availability, depending on capacity (you may work the full shift if possible, or specific hours, provided they fall within these timeframes) 0.1H – 6.99H: $2 USD per hour 7H and above: $6.75 USD per hour To ensure proper pay scale application, you must work at least 3 hours on Monday and 3 hours on Tuesday between 6 AM – 2 PM PST. If these minimums are not met, additional hours will not count toward the pay scale. **PAYDAY – Mexico (any bank): Fridays after 4 PM** Central America (via Payoneer): Sent on Friday, but funds typically reflect in your account between Tuesday and Thursday; earlier deposit is possible, but Payoneer’s standard processing times apply.
